The Role

We are seeking a creative, skilled and values-driven Marketing Manager to plan and deliver impactful insight-led marketing campaigns that support our charitable mission and grow diverse audiences.

This is a new role in the Commercial Operations team, designed to promote Winchester Science Centre. It is a pivotal creative role that is responsible for producing dynamic, audience-led campaigns that reflect the vibrancy, ambition and inclusivity of our offer, and engages existing and new audiences to visit.

Working closely with the Head of Audiences, Marketing Officer and Digital Content and Brand Producer, you will lead integrated campaigns that promote general admissions, exhibitions, events, school’s visits and corporate offers.

This role is central to delivering our audience-led approach, ensuring that marketing activity is informed by audience insight, inclusive in its reach, and focused on public benefit as well as visitor growth. Using storytelling in ways that excite and inspire. Ensuring everything we share is bold, inclusive, science-rich and unmistakably Winchester Science Centre.

As part of the wider Commercial Operations team, led by the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our annual marketing plan, supporting our ambitious strategy and the growth of our Charity. With a strong focus on compelling storytelling and audience engagement, you will help us reach and connect with key audiences, including families, educators, corporates, and more.

At a time of exciting growth for the organisation - including the launch of major new experiences and a bold reimagining of our public offer and events programme – this role will ensure that our marketing campaigns are as engaging, imaginative and curiosity-driven as the experience on site. It’s a chance to shape how we build deeper connections with our audiences and inspire the next generation of curious minds.
