James brings a wealth of expertise and over 15 years of leadership in the science & real estate sector. He works with global scientific organisations to deliver laboratories and other technical real estate for their research and development needs. James has previously worked at global scientific centres such as The Francis Crick Institute and Imperial College London.

James joined the charity in 2025 and is a keen supporter of science engagement and ensuring science is publicly accessible to all. As a father of two deeply curious boys, James was already a regular visitor to the Science Centre and he wants to ensure the charity continues to grow and flourish!
